He was very handsome with good physique and fitting into any kind of role in the film industry. He was the number one popular actor for more than 50 years, in the Kannada film industry.



Many people followed Rajkumar, by starting yoga in their life. Yoga became popular in Karnataka, after the release of his film "Kamana Billu" (Rain Bow), in which he has performed different poses (asans) of yoga. Many of the actors in the world of cinema, have cultivated the habit of smoking and drinking.  But, Rajkumar kept himself away from those things in the cinema & his personal life. He refused to act as smoker and drunkard. The reason being, his fans were following his foot steps and he didn't want his fans to cultivate bad habbits in their life.
